Congratulations. Nice Xmas pressie. As for how the player performs - have not seen any reviews of it up to now, although the Proline DVD1000 got good reviews considering its price (8/10 in DVD Review magazine). The link below gives a hack for the DVD1000, as well as one for the Proson DVD2000 (?). As this player is listed under the hack for the DVD1000 I am assuming that it is Proline player under a different name. I may be wrong.

    I've found the hack,
    Draw closed and empty then,
    menu,1,6,7,mute,exit.
Then you can load any disc as normal, it's region free ! It also remembers the hack.
Picture is slight better than the 750, better to use, plays Gladiator, has DTS. :)
What more can you ask for !
