Projector screen help

    I will try this here
    I have just got a new optoma 84 inch screen,the screen is excellent in every way(no waves or ripples) except when the camera pans on football or blue sky there is a 2inch thick line from top to bottom right in the middle of the screen that s a slighty diffrent shade than the rest is this normal?i have had a look at the front and back of the screen and it is totally flat.should I contact optoma

    Sounds like it's the projector itself, have place a sheet of paper over the bar and see if it appears on the paper too (thus ruling out the screen).

    I have just lens shifted and the line moved so what could it be on the projector that's causing it?

    Yep, as to the cause though, I've no idea sorry. Check if there's an owners thread and see if other owners could help
