Thanks to Gordon who is putting in great effort in organising this event.
One thing I should point out is that there may be the possibility of having the event in London at no additional cost.
I have yet to hear back on this issue.
I personally would prefer to have the event in London rather than Glasgow, though somewhere in the Midlands would be ideal.

    First,

Thanks to everyone who has responded to my original postings about the above. Many of you want to see the same thing, which is good!

I need more input though. Even if you aren't a forum member/contributor I'd like to hear from you. If you think you'd go to such an event email me and tell me. Even if you aren't near Glasgow let me know, after all it may end up near you.....

    So, to re-iterate....

Would you want to go to an event where you could see a large range of projectors and scalers and where you could chat with Specialists in their fields about these devices?

Would you go if it were in Glasgow?

If not how much would you be prepared to pay if we had to put it on somewhere else?

What would you really like to see, ( ie Several projectors all playing the same stuff in different rooms or direct comparisons between units on the same screen etc...)?

What projectors/scalers or what range of price/performance?

Who would you like to meet and chat with or have give a short talk? Or even who'd put you off going!

Please email me directly Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm away to B+W for a couple of days so I wont be able to reply until late Tuesday probably. I will reply to everyone though.

    Gordon,
One more thing, if the shootout is in London, I would be willing to bring along my Cinematrix moded DVD player (if you dont have one already.)
We can set up anything between 480p to 1200p with this baby.
    Eric
