Projector placement

Could someone please let me know how far away I have to mount the projector to get a 5 foot wide by 4 foot deep image the projector is nto be ceiling mounted.

my sanyo plv30 is 10 feet away for that size image. can get up to a 6 ft image max. like the previous post it depends on the pj.
