    Hi all,

Just bought myself a new projector (philips ppx 1230) and have hooked up my xbox to it using a component cable. However in order for any display to be shown (Sound isn't the issue here) the xboxs display settings to PAL 50hz. meaning that i can only play certain games.

Is there anyway to allow the projector to display the xbox on PAL 60hz (considering the projector apparently supports PAL 60hz)?

    Muchas gracias :)

Apologies, I'm actually using a composite A/V cable set up.

It seems to me that it only supports 60hz via the VGA socket.
Hence I don't think you can do anything about it, but could be wrong.

Does the projector not have any other inputs? as composite is the worst possible connection you can use.
