My Sony HS1 has finally breathed its last breath, so I need ideas of what to buy as a replacement.

    Wish List

    1) Same sort of throw length as the HS!

    2) Long lamp life

    3) Durable and reliable

    4) Obviously Good PQ and lack of screen door

    Budget £2000

    Any Ideas welcome.

    Cheers Jon

    1. HS10 (has a long throw!)
    2. Epson TW100
    3. AE300

Discount the AE300 if HCPC is a priority.

    JonMace,

I get a 72" by 40" picture from about 10' projection distance on my HS10 if thats any help.

No screen door at this distance either just smooth pictures.

    Klippie.

    Jon,

I have an AE300 and it has a pretty short throw ratio - my screen is 80" by 45" and the PJ is about 9' back. No screendoor and PQ looks superb.

    Tony.
