projector help please

    got the new pansonic
    not got a proper screen yet
    piture seems to be a little slanted
    eg 80 inch across at top
    75 inch at the bottom
    is there anyway of changing this if so any help would be a great!
    also whats the besy screen to buy?

    have you tried the keystone? it sounds like the projector is simply not 100% level.

    best screen on a budget is a home made ;)

    not tryed keystone yet
    got told makes piture worse
    thought there might be another way around it

    it will distort the image so yes, it will degrade the image. But if you have a trapezoid screen that you cant adjust by moving the projector itself, then keystone is your only way. Every chance you wont notice any degradation unless you are 1:1 mapping and looking closely.

    is the projector mounted straight?

    at the moment
    might have to keep playing around with it
    but wow !!its amazing!!
    are draper screens any good??

    the tilt is the reason for the shape.....

    draper are reasonable from comments on here

    theres that many out there
    are manual screens easy to use?to they have a pull down handle?

    try www.drhscreens.co.uk.
    As far as i know better and cheaper than the drapers.
    Not as well known, but i haven't heard a bad word about them.

    this is what i need
    celing fixed 36 inch blackdrop
    then 45 inch down and 80 inch across piture
    only found draper what had backdrops more than 12 inches
    any body now cheaper ones let me know!

    Try DRH screens, I've just ordered one from them with a bigger top border, £20 more than standard price and only take a couple of days to make and ship, rather than a few weeks like some others i've rung up.

    Try doing a search on the forums for nexnix screen,took delivery of my 7ft electric screen 2 weeks ago£470 delivered.Excellent screen and the picture is great of my panny AE200.
