    Hi,
I personally would recommend a panasonic projector. The smooth screen technology works really well.
I have an ae300 set about 7' from a 5.5' diagonal screen, i'm also sat directly under the pj at about 7' from the screen and cannot see any pixel structure at all.

The panasonic ae300, ae500 (both discontinued) and the new ae700 all use this technology.

    Hope this helps
