Last night my PLV-30 was cutting out constantly...Switch it on, use it for 15-20 minutes than it would go off automatically....
As I was waiting for a delivery, my bluetooth headset, I decided to take the projector down from the ceiling and give it a clean with the vaccum....Boy was this thing dirty, all the air vents were totally blocked, the little removable filters were black, and even inside the lamp housing docking bay there was dust....All hoovered thanks to our great dyson (now this is a strange sentence for the English conscious amongst us...) and it is working brialliantly again.......

Has only been up for 18 months.....

I would clean it more regularly than that. Do a search for "heat soak"
