Projector and TV through Onkyo 606

Hi,

I have a 5.1 setup (old onkyo 606, etc.) and a hdtv that is setup with the TV in a specific spot. Everything goes through the receiver to the TV.

I want to rotate the speaker setup 90 in the room and have a projector going across the room, projecting onto a screen in front of the chimney breast.

The TV is going to stay where it is.

I realise most of the time the pj screen comes down/up in front of the TV retaining the same sound setup, but I don't like TV's on the wall.

My question is.

I want 5.1 with pj. But just stereo sent to TV when I watch that. I use openelec, ps3, ps4 and PC through the onkyo. Do I manually change audio settings and enable stereo pass through on the onkyo->TV, or is there a magic switcher/new receiver that will always pass video and stereo audio to my TV?

I hope that's clear!

Cheers
