    Dear all,

I am undertaking a large house renovation and while i did do a lot of research on the audio side of things, i did not spend too much time on the visual side :-(

In summary i have a 26ft x 12ft room. The projector screen is at one end. Now, i decided to go for a 6ft wide 1:1 aspect ratio screen. With hindsight and now doing some research, i wish i had a.) gone for a larger screen and b.) either went for a 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio. Unfortunately, all is done now and it is buried in the cieling - so no truning back now.

I intend to sit around 20ft back from the screen. Now i know, ideally i should be around 2 times the length of the screen but again, too late now. Therefore, i need a projector which has the following properties:

a.) Long Throw - will project a 6ft wide image from around 15 ft
    b.) Supports all aspect ratios 1:1, 4:3 and 16:9
c.) Has good resolution for DVD playback etc
d.) Is atleast 1200 - preferably more lumens

    and the big one...

    Falls in under £1500...

    Any ideas guys...and gals?

    Thanks in advance...
