Project Gotham Racing 4 Multiplayer Offline

I know its old but picked up this game at the weekend for £5 to play with my son but we can't get offline multi-player to work?

The two of us want to race each other and we heard one can be a car, one a bike. But when we go into the options, the 'race on same xbox' option is locked and it keeps saying we need 2 gamer profiles logged in?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

I've not got the game but think I an help.

When you turn the second controller on, make sure it signs into a profile. You may need to make a second profile or a guest account. You can get to sign in screen by pressing the xbox button on the second remote.

Once you have both controllers assigned to profiles, you should then be able to get into two player mode.

The above is correct, you both need to sign in to a different profile and then start the game.
