Progressive scan to RGB Scart ?

I currently have PW6 screen running from VGA to RGB JS Box then to my Pioneer Av 402 amp which I use to switch my scart RGB inputs. Can a DVD use its progressive scan through its scart or have I got to get a component board.

I'm sure Progressive scan is only through component

A DVD player will only output an analogue progressive signal via component unless it has a VGA output as RGBHV via VGA is also capable of progressive scan. Scart will not normally handle a progressive scan signal.
