In the August 04 issue of whathomecinemamag in the group test (Bigscreen lcd tv's)RZ-30LZ13,it states that you can get a progressive scan picture through the dvi jack using the right cable. Does anybody Know what cable i need ,as i want to connect my panny dvd-s75 that has component (rca) progressive scan.

Cheers in advance for any Help.

Scott.

I don't think that DVI is compatible to component as the former is digital and the latter analog.
To use DVI you must have a source with DVI output.

Progressive Scan (PS) can be used over YUV (aka Component) but must also be supported by the source and the display.

The Radeon is a proprietary solution, as far as I know no displays accept analogue component video (YPrPb) via a DVI interface. They may accept an analogue signal but that would be of the RGB variety.
