I have just been playing around with progressive scan yesterday after receiving my cables and after a long time fiddling around I finally get progressive scan via the DVI port (DVI to VGA to Component) working.

The picture is great however at the very top of the screen I see some white noise, a few white lines with black between them.

The border at the bottom of the screen is smaller than that at the top. It appears as if the picture is not central on the screen.

Does anybody know what this could be? I've been through every possible setting and cannot understand what it could be.

The TV has 2.1 firmware, it works brilliantly with SCART and I get no problems with my freeview box.

    Thanks,
    Neil

Use the cursor 'up' on the remote to nudge the picture up.
