    Hello

The progressive scan of the dvd sony DVPNS730 (Pal and NTSC) is compatible with the progressive scan built in on Panasonic 32pd30.

I read that some progressive scan signal only can be used on non-interlaced tv's like plasma and lcd's.

    It's that correct.

    Thanks

I just bought the similar DVD player 930. When I set it up on my Panny PD30 I had to go into the service menu to remove the "Known issue of a blurred line down the righ side of any picture".
This is very easy to do. I am a novice and managed no problem. Do a search for the service menu and find how to do it there.
