Hope somebody can help. Have just purchased the above mentioned TV - and would like to know if anyone can confirm whether or not this TV will accept a PS signal from a suitably equiped DVD player? NTSC / Pal or both. And if (hopefully) the answer is yes is it a significant improvement in pic quality?

    Many thanks

I read on the latest issue of the French magazine Les Années Laser that the ZD26P did support NTSC progressive on its component inputs. They didn't say anything about PAL progressive but I guess they didn't have a PALp DVD player anyway.

The specs don't say anything, but that's no surprise. Mind you, many PAL-prog-compatible projectors don't mention that capability on their brochures.

Anyway, what we need is to arrange a meeting between someone who's bought a ZD26P set and someone who's got a Nintaus DVD player or Iscan line doubler.

    Any volunteers?
