Progressive scan DVD?

    Should i buy a progressive scan DVD player (pioneer 737)for my new tv Hitachi (C43WP910TN progressive scan),or should i keep my Hitachi DV-P505E.Will a Progressive DVD player make any difference?

    For a start, does the TV have inputs compatible with the player you propose to buy?

    What kind of inputs do i need? What about scart input,or do i need Component input?Am Confused!

    Hi blueferre,

    ProScan is only feed through Component Out.

    As far as improvements are concerned, From what I have hears you should see a dramatic improvementwhen using ProScan. But bear in mind you will only be able to apply ProScan on NTSC material with the Pioneer737
