I've just bought a new LCD TV a Toshiba 26WL46 which supports progressive scan, The DVD player I bought a few weeks ago doesn't damnwell have Component ports. I'm wondering if I would get a major increase in picture quality if I went out and got another new DVD player that supports progressive scan?

What conection does this DVD player have??

Itsvery rare that a new player doesnt have a component conection unless it was 2nd hand or very, VERY cheap!

I recomend you get a decent DVD player with a good D/A Video converter (12bit 108mhz) and of course component.

You will see a clear difference over anything else.
