    Hi,

I'm newbie here (and DVDplayers), I have a very cheap DVD player with component outputs (aside of Svideo, composite). But it do not say if this output (component) is progressive. I suspect it is not, mainly due to the price of the player :D . But maybe I'm wrong?

DVD Player (please don't laugh... ;) ): Vieta DVD 4

    Tx

Hi Darkbluesky, if the player is capable of Progressive Scan component output then there will be a toggle switch somewhere in the menu system to switch between Progressive and Interlaced output. Remember your display must be capable of accepting Progressive Scan output too.
