I should have said that i know about this model, its only progressive from a VGA port, and I am sure it will only work with recorded software done on the player, I think I read this in a review, and it has a poor de-interlacer :(

Well then aside from that there isn't anything. I didn't think the progressive output was VGA, I though it was BNC or something daft like that - but I could be wrong, or just confused.

I just checked the specs, it only offers progressive scan for DVD+RW and DVD+R from the VGA port.
PDF here no good for me as my Projector does not do pal progressive through the VGA port, componant only :( anyway its too damb expensive. Hopefully there will be some cheaper progressive recorders out be the end of the year.

If anyones interested the cheapest PAL PS DVD player is the Limit 9900SE player and is available from Richer Sounds at www.richersounds.com or one of their shops.
I purchased one for £149.95. from their Colchester branch last Friday.

    Talisman

I read about the Kiss in HCC recently, could be a good one.
From what I have read though you have to flash the Kiss drives to make them multi-region :(
I wonder what de-interlacer it use's, and will it be pal prog out of the box????
