Hi everyone

I want to put rgb led strip in daughters room and I have massive headache with it...

Room is around 5x4 meters and I would like to have it fully programmable (each led) I only see max 5 meter rolls of LEDs and different led strip types like 2811 2811b 5050 cob etc...
Distance between leds is a key, maybe like 5 to 10mm maximum distance would be great.

What controller would I need? Voltages? Power supply? etc

How do one go around this? Is there some tutorials for this somewhere?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The advice is only ever to run a maximum of 5M of LED strip in series hence why you generally only get 5M rolls.

I use Hi-Line lighting and they have some very good guides and a large range of strips.

My advice is

24v 14.4watts per metre LED RGBW strips at 20m (approx based on the sizes of bedroom) you would need a 300w Power supply

LED Driver | 24V | 300W | Constant Voltage | IP67 | EC Series

I would then use a Shelly RGBW2 module for control via alexa or app
