Prog scan upgrade or other?

Hi!
I have a Pioneer 747 dvd player which is NTSC progscan but not PAL. Should I get this player upgraded to PAL prog scan or should I buy a seperate de-interlacer?
If so, what should I buy? and where can I get the player upgraded safely and reliably?

erm....did i say anything wrong? Is anyone there...perhaps I should try a different deodourant.
