Prog Scan Comparison

I am trying without the opportunity to see for myself.
The pieces of equipment I'm trying to compare are:
Denon DVD2200
Roksan caspian DVD
and Myryad Z120(2)

They will be connected to a prog scan compatible screen via the component connections.
The question is...
..The Caspian DVD doesn't have Progressive scan but is worth £1250 will the DVD player show better pictures than the two £600 players via component even though they have progressive scan???
(The caspian is going to cost £700)
If the progressive scan would win out, what are the opinions on the myryad (preferebly the newer Z122)

Even an opinion or from memory or experience would be helpful.
The only reason I need to ask is cause the decision needs to be made soon and denon don't have any 2200's and now looking for other options. (SACD, DVDA and CD playback are no issue)

How about making it more general
at what difference in price do you reckon the interlaced player is so much better quality that it would beat a player with progressive scan?
With the example above the interlaced is £1200
the progressive is only £600 is the £1200 better or not?
