prog pal and panny plasma

I've done a quick search here but couldn't find anything - would I be right in thinking that the 42pwd4bx can take progressive pal?

It certainly can, (via it's component inputs of course).

Just need to get yourself a a decent DVD player which can output PAL Prog. Scan.
