Problems with Toshiba 30WL46

I'm having problems with my Toshiba LCD TV, when I turn the TV on from standby I'm only getting sound and no picture, I've checked all connections and they are fine. Anyone have any ideas what may be wrong?

Is the problem the same when you start from cold using the power button etc?
Also, what source are you using? Is it the same for each source you try?

It's the same with each source I try.

I'd tried starting from cold but suffered the same problem.

Can you view the menus etc if you try to access the menus?

No i can't there's nothing, totally blank, sound only.

From what you're saying it's a definite return to the retailer in my opinion. If not even the menus are displayed, it's clearly the panel itself at fault or the electronics powering it seperate to anything to do with sources.

If it's anything like Laptop / PC flatscreens, then it may be the inverter board, or just the panel lost power etc.

When was the unit purchased?
