I have just bought a Samsung TV model LE32D580 which has problems with the TUTV card. It is connected via a Freeview box - done this way as box has twin tuners.

When switching on, 50% of the time it starts OK, the other 50% I get a message "Unable to connect to common interface service". I am unable to receive an HD picture. Turning on the Freeview box cures the problem, although the HD picture is bady pixellated. I got my aerial checked and the strength is 98%. Quite by chance, when checking everything, the aerial engineer found the cause - removing the TUTV card solves the problem.

Neither TUTV not Samsung can come up with a solution. (The TV firmware has been updated but made no difference).
