problems with some discs

    i`ve got an oritron 800 player.Some discs won`t play on it, namely terminator and dinosaur. Are there any other discs that have problems playing.null

    There are quite a few problem discs. Your Dinosaur copy, is it R1? The R1 version (dont know about R2) glitches on loads of machines. Something to do with Disneys authoring process. Hope you dont get too many more!

    I guess you mean T2. Its a branching disc which means the player has to skip all over the disc which a lot of players dont like!!

    By the way other disney discs that play up are The Kid and Emporers new groove. Both R1 check out http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/dvdsupport/home.html that may help a bit!

    Hi,

    What the hell is an Oritron 800? Sounds more like a Vacuum Cleaner, than a DVD player?

    Personally, I think you should get yourself a better DVD player. A Pioneer or Sony would be much better, and will steadfastly play ALL dvd's, as long as you can change the region yourself.

    Chipping a machine nowadays, is simply something you must do!
