    Evening all,

I seem to be having some odd problems with certain disks in my Pioneer player.
Some disks (All my DVD's are Region 1) will just go through to the menu screen with no issues, select play from the menu and then the unit goes back to the Pioneer logo screen after 'trying' to play the disk....other disks play fine until certain areas and then the screen goes all blocky.

All disks when placed into a cheap as chips 29.99 DVD player or all my other Sony players work fine with no issues...and again work fine with my PC DVD-Rom drives....I'm guessing something must be up with the Laser but the unit has had very little use but is probably out of warranty now.

I've tried DVD Laser lens cleaners with no success....does anyone have any bright ideas?

    Cheers,

    Tom...
