So i decided to place an order with Octane for flex HR. Having spoken to Ian directly through the Octane chatbox, initially he seemed like a fairly decent chap. With prime day coming up he said there would be a 15% discount on all products. We want a 4 seater and a 2 seater so after discount it would be worth the wait. At this point there were 39 seat sets on Amazon. The day before prime I noticed a 15% discount had been applied to some but not all of the seating and only the 4 seater but not the 2. Weirdly in the space of 1 minute all 39 sets of seating had disappeared off amazon inc the ones with no discount. In the week running up to this only a couple had been bought. Total price would have been £4227 after discount. I immediately messaged Ian and he said they had all been bought!!! Really? And we can purchase from him directly if we just give him our credit card details. I asked him for a formal order/invoice which he said he couldn't do and couldn't understand why i wouldn't place an order with him directly. I explained I've never used their company before, if they go bust over night then I am with out a product and money. He then started getting aggressive and said we would have to wait until next on amazon. I read a few people on hear had a similar experience. It's a strange way to do business and my requests were not unreasonable. Did anyone manage to order any flex hr or curve after they had apparently "sold out" on amazon and if so from where and how? Thank you
