Problems with Joytech Trilink HDMI switcher?

Well-known Member
Hi all,

Having problems with the Joytech Trilink HDMI switcher.

It won't work with my Samsung BD-P1000 at 1080p with out a little bit of noise or mainly, a lot of noise.

If I switch to my Marantz it seems okay but that's a 1080i.

Anyone else have problems? I switched all my Mark Grant cables around but with no joy :(

Only had mine for a week or so and not noticed any problems, I use mine for Sky HD @ 1080i and PS3 @ 1080p.

You might just have a faulty unit.

Thanks for the reply. I guess it must be dodgy as Joytech are unaware of problems. The seller (got it new from eBay) has agreed to refund and I now have an Xtreme HD HDMI switcher sat in a box waiting for me to connect it up!!

Roll on HD DVD player :D

I have a problem with Joytech Trilink HDMI switcher.

PC (winXP SP2 Matrox P650 graphics card DVI output) to input 1

Sony 970 HDMI to input 2

Joytech Trilink HDMI switcher output to Sony KDF-E50A12U HDMI

Picture quality from both the PC & DVDR fine but when I switch all the equipment off and then power up again the signal form the PC to the TV via the Trilink is lost and I have to reset the graphics card using Matrox Powerdesk.

Should the settings be retained by the Trilink even if it and all the equipment are turned off at the mains.

Any ideas welcome
