    Hi,

I've just installed iTunes but am having some difficulty in transfering the files. When I try & drag the file from the library to the ipod, the bar with the song names moves rather than the music file, thus I can't move any songs unless I update the ipod. In addition, once the songs are on the ipod I don't have an option of removing them, as I cannot highlight any songs. For some reason the contents are 'greyed' out.

    Can anyone help?

    Many thanks!!

To manually update your iPod you need to tell iTunes that you don't want it to update your iPod automaticaly. If you right click on the iPod and tell it you want to update manually it should let you do what you want to do.
