I have a disc that was given free with the Times (X-Men 2 stuff) and there is a slide show on the disc I can get it to play all right with the horizontal orientated ones and they fill the screen. but the pictures that are vertical in orientation cause problems, soon as they are shown the picture the screen moves up about a 10th cutting the top off.
Is there any way to stop this happening?
Also if I burnt my own slides to disc would the same happen?

Yes and no the TV is set to Auto but its not my set. I take it you have to switch the set to one of the other modes then?

My Panasonic sometimes does funny things in auto usually during adverts on sky it sounds like what you are experiencing. I would try setting it to 16/9 or 4/3 and see if it makes a difference, may not be a problem, but worth a try.

Yes my parent is a Panasonic TV. I have just popped round and tried then in different modes and they all have the same problem. I when through the disc and did find 1 horizontal orientated picture that had the same problem and one vertical that did not. This was out of about 24 slides.

It does better than my old Grundig all I get back is a blank screen on my Loewe.

You could try writing your own slide show on a CD-RW that way you will not have wasted a disc experimenting, sorry cant think of anything else, I do not have the 330 myself my old SD100 does not even like CDR's and do not do a lot with slides, still on the old 35mm stuff.
