Hope somebody out there can help me,

I am having trouble getting a good picture/signal when I have freeview and sky connected to all my tv's.

I can either have good freeview signal in all rooms or good sky picture, never both.

I have a feed coming from the aeriel into a booster (1) which goes straight into the sky box. This then goes from the RF1 output back into a 6 way splitter in the loft, via another booster (2), and back out to 4 tv's. I also have one tv connected to the RF2 output. If I take out (2) then I can get decent freeview the other rooms and poor sky, with (2) connected I get good sky and no freeview.

Any ideas on how I can get both would be appreciated.

Thanks

Change the channel the Sky box modulator uses to one well away from those used by your Freeview transmitter. You could start at 21 and work up till you find one that works. You will have to retune the remote TV's analogue tuner every time you change the output channel.

If that doesn't work you may need to fit an attenuator to the Sky box rf in socket.
