Having problems connecting my HTPC (with GTX1050ti) to my Anthem MRX710.
Desktop fails to show correctly...cursor disappears too...
I can't successfully connect the PC....via HDMI to the MRX710.
Trying to discover what I'm doin' wrong!
Could it be an EDID issues perhaps...(found this while Googling.....but not really sure what it means TBH!!)

Struggling here....so 'baby steps' please!!

Connect up a PC monitor temporarily to the PC so you have access to the desktop.

Go into the Nvidia GPU control panel resolution section, pick the Anthem MRX710 display and set use nvidia colour settings
colour depth = 32-bit
output colour format = ycbcr 444
output colour depth = 8-bit
resolution = ultra hd, hd, sd 1080p
refresh rate = 60hz

See if that works, if does not then select ycbcr 422 and try that.

EDID stands for extended display identification data, its basically how the display tells other devices what resolutions and refresh rates it supports.

Thanks.....does this mean that I'll be selecting a 'dual monitor' mode??

No you shouldn't need to set up dual monitor mode, you just need visual access to the nvidia gpu control panel with the AVR attached to make changes in its resolution settings, you could also use the TV instead of PC monitor.
