Recently purchased a Phillips LCD 26PF5520D Tv with built in digital freeview channels but I cant seem to get my DVD recorder to pick up the digital channels to be able to record them? My recorder only picks up the analogue channels? Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I have one scart connected from Recorder to Tv, do I need to connect another? and if so whats the best way to connect my scarts :(

Unless your DVD recorder is one of a tiny number with a built in Freeview tuner then you will only be able to pick up analogue channels on the machines internal tuner. What you can do is connect the output scart on the TV to the Scart Input on your DVD recorder and then you can set the 'channel' to AV2 (or whatever that input is called) and record what the TV is currently showing. You'd be better off getting a dedicated Freeview box to work with your DVD recorder though.

I'm sure if you tell us which DVD recorder you have someone might be able to give you a mre detailed answer.
