Problems connecting to xbox live.

Hi,

I have recently brought a dongle and wanted it so i could connect to xbox live but my xbox live doesnt seem to be finding my internet connection.

any suggestions?

a dongle...what dongle..do you mean a wireless adaptor(official)or what?
