Hi, I recently bought a Sharp LL-M15X1U LCD Monitor (from US) with Tv tuner for the Kitchen which is now installed on the wall. This has a built in TV tuner.

It has an antenna input (F type), as well as AV , S Video and rgb input. I
have been trying to connect my Sky box via the RF 2 (coaxial)
from the box in the lounge, via the loft, to the Monitor but cannot seem to get a signal at all. I have gone through the installers set up to switch RF2 on.

Power is getting through from the Sky box, as the LED light on my tvlink is alight.

It is all connected with coaxial straight to the antenna input on the LCD. I have manged to tune in distorted pictures of terrestrial channels, but nothing from the sky box.

Help! Where am I going wrong?

I don't really want to run av cable unless I have to as the whole house has just been replastered!

    Thanks!

Your LCD TV is NTSC and everything else is PAL.

You will probably need to use the AV leads and even then you may still have problems.
