I have a surround sound set up using Pioneer VSX-D812 and KEF 5005 speakers
    with PSW2500 sub.

Just noticed that there is no sound coming from the sub woofer. Have checked
that the set up on the receiver is the same (had this system about 18
months) and all is ok. When running through the manual set up there seems to
be no signal coming out of the receiver going to the sub. Have switched sub
cable and it's the same - so it can't be that. I seem to remember when
setting this equipment up - when all is tuned on - I could feel a pulse
coming down the sub cable when I connected the end into the PSW2500 - now I
cannot feel and surge at all.

I am wondering whether the Pioneer VSX has become faulty. The green light on
the back of the sub is showing green as if to indicate there is a signal -
and that is when it's set to auto and sub powered off and on - just to check
    whether the sub sees anything...

    Any ideas?

    Jim
