Just got mine this morning. (Ordered from PlayUsa for £10.99)

    1. It was in a white case. not silver like the others

    2. It didnt have a booklet inside unlike the others

Can anyone else who has recieved this let me know if they got the same thing.

I have emailed playusa quizzing this, but you know how long that will take.

    Cheers guys/gals

    Fordy;)

That is unusual. I have this on order from Amazon and I also have the others in the series on R1. In pictures it certainly looks the same as the others on R1 but I will let you know as soon as I get mine.

by white case, I meant the plastic DVD case, not the sleeve that is silver and Im sorry I just realised and checked the others are black cases not silver.

    my bad

But still a white case not black and a missing booklet from the sealed case.

You got me worried for a minute. I just had mine posted from Playusa today.

I don't see what the big deal is with booklets. I never look at them. I also don't care about the colour of the case. They won't bee seen on a shelf anyway. I be more concerned about the TMP having a yellow cover while the rest are silver.

I only have the special edition of TMP, the rest are the first released versions. I am only going to get the new versions of VI and VII, to get the anamorphic prints.

Same deal here - white case, no leaflet.

I can't complain at £6.50 or thereabouts, although I doubt that it would have been more if it were in a case that matched the rest.

The extras alone are worth the price of these discs. I'm not normally an extras fan - rarely watching many, but these are, in the main, well crafted and offer interesting insights.

all of the others came with a "matching silver booklet" it just seemed odd that this one didnt.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but why is it so cheap?

is there any reason to keep buying the R2 releases of these films when the R1 is so much cheaper? £17.99 for R2 or about £6, as you say for R1...

I think I'll start collecting the R1 from now on.

Only thing that'll bug me is that they won't all look consistent. I-IV in R2, the others in R1. Ah well, they're to watch not to look at on the shelves :)
