    Hi!

I recently bought AntZ on DVD and I can't seem to make it work on my 715. I know this is an old player, but I upgraded the Software a year ago and none of my other 150 disc have problems...
Does anyone with a Sony 715 care to comment?

    Thanks!

    NS

I was just about to ask the same question when I saw your post.

I've got the 315 and, although an old model, it runs without problems on all of my DVD's.

But I put Antz in this weekend, it plays the Dreamworks title sequence, then the language select screen.
But when the main menu appears it plays for about 1-2 seconds then disappears with the error message C:13:00

    Any ideas people?

OK, I've have a fiddle around with the DVD and found a solution.

When the error occurs use the search facility and select "Title Search 2".
This should start the movie. Then when it starts use the "Menu" button to go back to the menu. For some reason it now works.

Bit of an awkward way of doing things but at least it works now.

    Hi guys,
I have a 715 too, and I've found the machine
to be quite sensitive to faulty discs.
For the rest, it's pretty brilliant, I use it as a cd-transport as well, untill I get my TEAC vrds-10 in. anyway, you're not the only ones who sometimes suffer with this deck, but I think it's worth it, the build being superior to many newer decks.
    Cheers,

    Koen
