Hi I was wondering if any of you have experienced problems with Sky Movies Premier Channel.

Way to often I get the "Technical fault" message and this goes on for hours, then for a few days everything is fine and then we go again.

I have noticed that on the on screen message the number 14 is displayed.
    Does that mean anything?

    All help appricated,

    From sunny Iceland

Only way to stop it is to disable anytime or to get a new box from sky otherwise it will need rebooted everyday.

Happened to me last night. I went into the services menu and looked at the signal strength, input 2 showed no signal. As I was looking at it, the signal came back and now Sky Movie Premiere was also back on.

    I also have this problem.

To be honest, Premier has become a total waste of time.

Am waiting for a response from SKY.

I have found that if you record something in your planner it works, just for some reason you can't watch it live?

Yep - what is the point of this channel? Just wait and the same film will pop on HD 1 or HD 2 :D

Got a phone call back from SKY after I told them they had a software problem.

They said - funnily - that it is a software problem and they are looking for a resolution :)

Turning off Anytime worked for me. Pity, because it sometimes had some good things on it. Clearly something is very wrong with the current software. Might be good to have someway of knowing when its safe to turn it on again.

Spoke to Sky just now. They said that the problem is with the Satellite itself not them. Their considering switching to another satellite/transponder frequency which they think might fix the problem. But until they do they wont know if it causes something else wrong. Hence better the devil you know, was the phrase. He said that the estimated fix time was 4 weeks, but we arent eligible for a reduction to subscription because of the loss!
