Has anyone tried using the SweetSpot MCE tv card and the M$ rollup 2 update?
I've just had to 'system restore' my HTPC, back to before the update.
After the update had been installed, the system failed to recognise the TV card. :(

Rolup 2 has cause lots of issues on my machine - most noticeably I keep losing power to the MA111 Netgear Wireless USB adapter - which is a bit of a pain - even after I've backed it out... so I don;t think sweetspot is the only problem...

I have two of the sweetspot cards, and the rollup caused no problems for me (none I have found yet anyway). Did you try removing/reloading the drivers?

In the past I have had problems with other Windows updates on other systems (not Media Centre), where after the first reboot it was telling me I had new hardware installed. Just had to reload the drivers and reboot again to sort it.

    Thanks for the replies.
I'm going to give the rollup 2 another go this weekend. I'll pull out the sweetspot card and re-install after the upgrade (find some lump of wood for luck, or to bash the box if it does not work)

I gave rollup2 another try today...uninstalled/reinstalled the sweetspot card, and still no joy. Media Center no longer sees the tuner card.
Also tested a DVD. This played OK, but when I pressed the stop then eject buttons on the remote, Media Center crashed..

After I'd OK'd the error messages, I rolled the system back to before rollup2.

I guess I'll just have to be happy with the software at rollup1 level.
