Hi there
I bought a 144Hz with 2560x1440 resolution (AOC CQ32G1). I don't know if this model is only available in Switzerland, but it is what it is. AOC CQ32G1 31.5 inch monitor | AOC Monitors
On my PS5 it always says max. resolution is 1920x1080p, I can't change that.
According to the specs, it has 1x hdmi with 2.0 and 1x with 1.4.
I tried the cable in both ports and also tried different cables (the one that came with the monitor, the one that came with the PS5). None of them seems to work. But when I connect the monitor to my Razer blade notebook, the full 2560x1440 is available.
It's strange that when I go to the settings in the PS5 it says something like DHCP 1.4 (I don't know what that means).
At least the 120fps work after I set the PS5 to performance mode

Any suggestions? Thanks!

The PS5 doesn't support 1440p which is the max your monitor does so it goes to the max the PS5 supports with your Monitor which would be 1080p, Maybe in a future firmware update Sony will add 1440p support but until then you're stuck with 1080p.
