After 30hours viewing time, I put Star Wars DVD on for 30mins. It was on wide so there was 1 inch black strip bottom and top of screen.
Now the top one looks burnt in. Even when I turn the TV off it's still clearly there, but not the one at the bottom.
Left the set on all night on the games and it's still there.
Now trying this snow picture, but is that what I would call a fuzzy screen or is it pure white picture??????

    Help would be much appreciated
    Thanks

Snow is fine, but you really shouldn't need to. You are just prematurely wearing the phosphors. Just watch TV, it will go away. You have turned down your settings from default haven't you.... Loads of info about pio settings, do a search.

Read through most things on settings so they are well down for the first 200hours.
I just can't beleive it's so clear when I turn the set off.
I'll give it a week and come back and tell how it's going.
    Cheers

    moneal,

I think you'll find the strip at the top is a shadow caused by the bezel, especially if you've got a light source directly above the TV. I had exactly the same scare as you did a few months back.

Wish it was the light casting a shadow but it's not.
    Thanks anyway.
4 days old the screen....not a happy bunny
