    Hi everyone,
I've just upgraded my amp to the new JVC RX-DP10VBK THX Ultra and am just having a few problems.

When I use a DTS ES DVD the Amp automatically jumps to DTS surround and all the speakers on the amp are lit on the amps face/dial i.e L C R

    LS RS

    LB RB SUB

I can use the DTS with the THX switched on if I like - no problem.

Trouble is I bought this amp to play my DD Ex DVD's and I can not seem to get them to work, not one of them. That is they work with ord DD but I can not seem to get the DD EX to kick in and the LB and RB on the amp are not lit.

Any help would be most welcome!

    Cheers

    Paulh.

    Hi

Is there not a button on the front of the amp or remote, something like 6.1/7.1 surround??

Have you got an option for AUTO FLAG DETECT in the setup menu??

Thanks Jase for your reply, I had a word with JVC who said the until DOLBY get the Flag thing sorted out, the amp will never show the full compliment of speakers on the fron pannel although it will play the EX channel.

    Cheers
