    Hi
I have recently purchased a Panasonic bdp 400 uhd player and marantz sr1608 Receiver

All works fine but I cannot watch Netflix app from the Panasonic via the receiver into a projector, Sony VPL 55es. I plan to change to 4K projector or tv shortly.
Amazon prime and bbc iPlayer no problem but Netflix I get
This content cannot be displayed because your tv does not support HDCP 2.2

If I connect the Panasonic to the tv or directly to the projector their is no problem

    Completely stumped

    Anyone have any ideas

Looks like the Sony VPL 55es does not support HDCP2.2
Is there a NETFLIX setup on the panny bdp400, maybe you can tell it to use a lower resolution??

Not sure it’s the Sony as I can watch Netflix on the projector if I bypass the receiver
Which would seem to indicate the receiver is the problem but the receiver successfully plays amazon prime and iPlayer

I suspect the HDCP handshake is the issue. When you get the HDCP2.2 warning is the content you are trying to send to the sony HDCP2.2 ...afaik iplayer does not have any HDCP2.2 protected content....Amazon seems to limit UHD content to a few devices only....I have never been able to get 4K content via Amazon with my ROKU4 which works fine with 4K UHD Netflix content

I ended up talking to marantz support who talked me through changing something in the settings via the front panel

Didn’t really understand what I was doing but changed a setting from limit to no limit
