Hi guys, hope you can help, had my player for about 2 months and has now stopped playing my blu-rat discs.

Here is what happened i put a music disc in which played fine, which uses the red laser, then went to watch a blu-ray disc, it came up on the display NO READ, thought it was the disc, so tried another and another all came back the same.
So for some reason the blue laser is not working, so what can i do, its now past the 30 warranty dvdworldusa give.

What do you think the problem could be, could it be a faulty diode or something as the laser isnt changing over.:lease:

Had a similar issue with a DVD player that stopped playing DVD's but would happily play CD's. That required a trip back to the factory (not what you wanted to hear) as it was a mech issue.
Have you tried playing a normal DVD in it?
Have you checked to see if Panasonic offer worldwide servicing?

Hi Ifletcher, not what i wanted to but what i expected, i have tried normal r1 dvd and works fine, its just not play my blu-ray, which would seem like a problem with the blue laser it self.
My local sevenoaks say they will see what they can do, as they have a good working relationship with panasonic, so fingers cross.
