Problem with HDMI connection

Hello everybody,

I have the following setup:
Parasound A52 Amplifier (http://www.soundandvision4u.co.uk/parasound-A52-bck.jpg)
Parasound P7 Pre-amplifier (http://www.gspr.com/parasound/images/_halo_images/p7_rear_300.jpg)
Denon-DBP-4010UD Blu-ray player (http://www.studio-22.com/denon/images/1_dg_av_DBP-4010_back.jpg)
Panasonic TV, the Parasounds are all analog.

I connected the blu-ray player with analog audio cables to the Parasound P7, with an analog video cable to the TV and with a HDMI cable to the tv. When I switch the tv to the analog video output I get a picture from the blu-ray, but when I switch the tv to the HDMI output I don't get a picture from the blu-ray, just sound.

Why is this? Why can't I use the HDMI output?
