I don't seem to be able to get film4 - I've tried re-scanning, and searching manually, but it just says no signal.

It wasn't much of a problem in the past, as I got film4+1, but since that's now changed to C4+1.....

What multiplex is Film4 on, and with which other channels? I think maybe I'm missing that multiplex.

If you have a "first time installation" within the setup/tuning menu pick that

I get the same problem too, used to not be able to get Film 4 but could watch Film 4+1 no probs.

Now got a totally useless Ch4+1 and no Film 4+1 or Film4......

I´ve tried rescanning on my Humax 8000T to no avail and tried the ¨first time install¨ option too...

    HELP!

Film 4 was originally transmitted on Channel 29 then it went to channel 32 and channel 29 became Film4+1. This suited me fine because channel 29 gives brilliant reception from the Moel-y-parc transmitter whereas channel 32 gives NIL. The latter is only broadcast on 250 watts so I wouldn't expect it to be great reception here in Oldham. My main transmitter is Winter Hill but line of sight is obstructed on this so although I can get both Channels 29 and 32 reception tends to fail in bad weather (winds&rain).

My equipment is split between the two transmitters and I have let Channel 4 know I am not happy with their switch of Channel 29 to E4 and the loss of Film4+1. They said I could expect a reply from their "Viewers & Listeners" department. So far - no reply.
